Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel was born on October 31, 1875, in Gadget. He studied law and grew up to be one of the most successful lawyers in the country.

In 1917, Sarder Patel joined the Indian independence struggle after meeting Mahatama Gandhi in 1917. He encouraged Indians to sign a petition calling for Swaraj (self-government) in Britain.

He organized relief operations during the Gadget famine and was fully committed to the cause of freedom. It was a force hidden behind the ‘Satyagraha Gazette’.

In 1920, Sardar Patel became the Chairman of the Gujarat Pradesh Congress Committee and engaged in the fight against alcoholism, inequality, and racial discrimination.

Sardar Patel supported Mahatama Gandhi's Non-Profit Organization and turned out to be wearing only a cardigan. He rose to the leadership of the Indian National Congress and organized the 1934 and 1937 election parties to further the development of the Indian Society.
